Lessiter Publications, Inc., Brookfield, WI, announces changes to its management structure.

Company Pres and Founder Frank Lessiter becomes Chmn and Editorial Dir. Mike Lessiter, Group Publisher and Exec VP, is promoted to Pres. In addition to assuming the day-to-day management activities of the firm, he will continue to manage the Farm Equipment Division.

Also joining the firm's executive management team is Todd Rank as VP of Sls. Prior to joining the firm, Rank served as VP of Pfingsten Publishing's Industrial Division. Rank has experience in the farm equipment and outdoor power equipment markets.

RFD-TV, Omaha, NE, names Larry Stoller as Sls Mgr for RFD-TV The Magazine.

Stoller has more than 20 years experience in advertising and marketing communications.

His background includes serving as an acct supvr for several major advertising agencies, working on crop protection and animal health accounts and print advertising sales for agricultural publications.

RFD-TV also announces the launch of "Cattlemen to Cattlemen" an NCBA one-hour live broad-cast, hosted by Orion Samuelson airing Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. EST.

The program features news, markets and features effecting the beef industry with a special focus on Washingon, D.C.

IRON Solutions, Wheel & Deal and The Big Dealer have signed an agreement to work together to bring one step marketing solutions to western Canadian equipment dealers.

This new partnership offers to dealers the ability to take control of their marketing programs. One entry into the IRON Solutions system results in used equipment inventory control, equipment listings going directly to online search sites and print ads going directly to Wheel & Deal and The Big Dealer.

Meredith Corporation acquires Genex, an interactive marketing services firm specializing in online customer relationship marketing, and New Media Strategies, an interactive word-of-mouth marketing
company.

The acquisitions enhance the capabilities of Meredith Integrated Marketing — the company's business-to-business unit that provides leading corporations and brands with custom print and online communications for their customers.

Hoard's Dairyman magazine announces the addition of Wendy Clark to its Fort Atkinson-based marketing staff.

She will be responsible for sales, marketing support and advertiser contacts in the Twin Cities, Kansas City, Des Moines and surrounding areas.

Annex Publishing & Printing, Inc., Exeter, ON, announces the acquisition of Manure Manager magazine from Vancouver-based Manure Manager partnership.

Manure Manager magazine published six times a year, targets livestock operations in the U.S. and Canada.

Farm Progress Company's parent company, Australia-based Rural Press Ltd and Fairfax Media announce a proposed merger to be decided by shareholders in April.

Following the approved merger, the group will have:
• Enterprise value in excess of $9 billion.
• A presence in New Zealand's daily newspaper market and 6 agricultural publications.
• Nine radio licenses in Queensland and South Australia.

"Farm Progress has benefited tremendously from the resources and publishing expertise Rural Press has provided over the years. I think it's particularly evident over the past few years as we've mae improvements to our publications, introduced new ones to the market, and redefined our business mode," says Jeff Lappin, Farm Progress Pres. "Looking ahead, however, we see opportunities for growth as part of an even larger media organization that will be created with the Fairfax/Rural Press merger."

Jim Watt, Chmn/CEO of Watt Publishing retires after
46 years of service with the company.

Greg Watt is named Pres and CEO and Tim Smith, formerly VP and CFO, is promoted to VP and COO.

The company also announces it will relocate its operations from Mt. Morris, IL, to Rockford, IL.

The 2008 Farm Progress Show, scheduled for August 26-28, will be held on a new, permanent biennial site located between Ames and Boone, IA.

Facility construction on the 600-acre site is scheduled to begin this spring. The developed site will be known as the Central Iowa Expo.

Mike Cady joins Brownfield's Ag News for America team as the Affiliate Relations Mgr.

Cady's background includes positions served as news director, operating manager and staff engineer.
