FEED ENERGY CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY
Source: Feed Energy news release

This year marks Feed Energy's 30th year of providing high performance energy and essential nutrition to livestock and poultry through science-based solutions.

Thirty years ago, Chairman of the Board Robert G. Riley, Jr. saw a need to provide a higher quality, more consistent source of energy for livestock feed. By teaming with some of the foremost metabolizable energy and carbon chain structure experts, Feed Energy was able to establish itself as a leader in delivering the highest quality, most consistent liquid fats and oils products.

Energy is a key component of any poultry or livestock diet, affecting feed efficiency and other performance factors such as rate of gain. Over the years, Feed Energy has continued to deliver trusted and reliable energy products while striving to innovative ways to deliver even more value to producers. The company's reach extends throughout the Midwest in the turkey, poultry, cattle and swine markets. In fact, more than 75% of turkeys produced in Iowa are fed Feed Energy products.

"This is an exciting time for us," commented Riley. "When I bought this business 30 years ago, innovation was a large part of my vision. New products, new processes, new approaches to fit the changing needs of animal husbandry. This anniversary milestone is a testament to the success of Feed Energy's commitment to this vision.

In recent years, the complex issues surrounding animal production, health, immunity, and nutrition, along with consumer perceptions, has challenged everyone. As the industry continues to develop, I'm happy to say that Feed Energy is staying ahead of the curve by providing tomorrow's technology today."

"The poultry and livestock producers feed millions of people; we are grateful to have had the honor of serving them and their customers for 30 years," added Joe Riley, Executive Vice President. "We are constantly working on how we can improve animal health and the greater good of our food systems. Feed Energy Fat has been the gold standard now for 30 years, we hope that it will continue to be the gold standard for 30 more."
