Working Ranch magazine reports:

Working Ranch magazine has always enjoyed highly active Facebook followers, but what happened on their Facebook page this past Tuesday has made Ag-marketing history. Their 85,000 Facebook followers took the magazine's first paid video viral.

On Monday morning, Jan 9/17 at 11 a.m. they posted a FB-approved Sponsored Content video for their advertiser Safety Zone Calf Catcher. By 3 p.m. the video views had already approached the 1 million mark. The next day it had climbed to 2 million views and as of Thursday afternoon, the video approached the 6 million mark and continues grow at the rate of 41,000 organic views per hour. Equally impressive is that the video has generated 268,000 shares and 7,700 comments.

But where the rubber really meets the road is in the number of orders Safety Zone has generated from the Working Ranch Facebook page. According to Working Ranch publisher Tim O'Byrne, their client reported that on the first day they had several thousand click throughs to their website and over 400 queries to the order form, with over 30 sales alone from Canada. At $2,095-$2,500 per sale, that's some nice revenue.

And that's just from the first day! This is one for the history books.
