Source: Case IH news release

New Maxxum series 2WD tractors from Case IH create efficient power dispersion in a package perfect for the multiple tasks of hay and forage operations, vegetable producers, dairy operations, municipalities and small-acreage mixed farms.
Case IH is excited to announce a new line of Maxxum series 2WD tractors that combine efficient power with enhanced maneuverability and a tighter turning radius. Models ranging from 116- to 145-rated engine horsepower boosts the PTO, hydraulics and transport speed that are hallmarks of the performance available from Maxxum tractors. These models are ideal for hay and forage operations, vegetable production, dairy operations, municipalities and small-acreage mixed farms.

"By popular demand, we are excited to bring back 2WD capabilities to our Maxxum tractor lineup," said Cole Carling, Case IH Maxxum tractor marketing manager. "Removing the MFD feature reduces the purchase price, but still gives producers the dedicated horsepower to get the job done. This creates a best-in-class package perfect for pulling round balers, mower conditioners and specialty planters. It's also a great mower tractor for municipalities."

Carling added that the vegetable market will benefit from the lineup's available pressure-flow compensating hydraulics, which ensures more precise planting.
