Source: FleishmanHillard news release

FleishmanHillard today named Terri Owen, senior vice president and senior partner, as the new general manager of its headquarters office in St. Louis.

"St. Louis is the birthplace of FleishmanHillard and remains a critical centerpiece as our firm's global headquarters 70 years later," said J.J. Carter, FleishmanHillard chief operating officer and president, Americas. "Terri's experience building teams, engaging talent and nurturing curiosity for more than two decades at the firm will help propel our largest office into the future."

In her new position, Owen will be focused on developing the vision and executing the strategic plan for the office, including client service, business acquisition, recruiting and staff development, innovation and investment in resources. Owen started at the firm while finishing her master's degree in human resource development.

After graduating, she was hired as an Assistant Account Executive to join the agency's then three-person employee communications team. Owen helped grow the practice, eventually becoming the employee communications practice group lead in St. Louis and then the global internal communications practice leader.

She has counseled dozens of the world's best-known companies and brands ranging from AT&T and Monsanto to Saudi Aramco and the American Red Cross. Owen specializes in change management, training and development, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, cultural alignment, internal brand alignment, product launches and customer service initiatives.

"I'm honored to receive this opportunity of a lifetime," Owen said. "Together with other leaders across the office I'm ready to build on the firm's rich heritage, while empowering and strengthening our staff and capabilities."
