UnitedAg,, a member-owned agricultural trade association representing more than 650 organizations and 35,000 insured members in California and Arizona, announced it will convene healthcare and insurance industry leaders from across the country for a Health Innovation Forum, to be held March 17 as part of UnitedAg's Annual Conference at the Westin Verasa in Napa, Calif.

Focused on finding affordable healthcare solutions for the agribusiness community and beyond, the Health Innovation Forum will bring together innovators from across the healthcare spectrum to explore trends and implications of value-based vs. fee-for-service reimbursement on consumers, providers and payers. "This important healthcare forum, along with keynote events featuring California Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross and political analyst and commentator Hugh Hewitt, are just a few of the highlights of our 37th Annual Conference," said UnitedAg President and CEO Kirti Mutatkar.

In partnership with UnitedAg, the forum will be facilitated by The HealthCare Executive Group (HCEG), a national network of select healthcare executives and thought leaders that for 27 years have provided an open forum for relevant two-way discussions around the top issues facing the industry, and those who help lead it.

Each year HCEG members identify the top 10 issues in healthcare from their perspectives. "HCEG is proud to bring our thought leaders to the table with UnitedAg for relevant and timely discussion on a topic that tops almost all industry lists," said Ferris Taylor, Chairman of the Board of Directors and lead contributor to the forum's discussion agenda.

Board members of HCEG will lead the discussions at the Health Innovation Forum, which will include participants David Cusick, Healthcare Technology Consultant, and Christopher Girod, Principal, Consulting Actuary, of Seattle-based Milliman; Nicholas Gambini, CEO of Visalia, Calif.-based Elite Corporate Wellness; Eric Dove, Chief Underwriting Officer of Woodbury, N.J.-based Excess Reinsurance Underwriters; Mike Biselli, Health-Tech Entrepreneur with Denver-based Catalyst HTI; Dr. Arjun Chanmugam, Vice Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore; Daniel Trencher, Senior Vice President, Product & Corporate Strategy, Purchase-N.Y.-based Teladoc; Ferris Taylor, COO, Salt Lake City-based Arches Health Plan; Dr. David Di Loreto, Senior Vice President, El Segundo, Calif.-based GE Healthcare Camden; and David Gallegos, Senior Vice President; Christopher Link, Consultant, of Nashville, Tenn.-based Change Healthcare Consulting; and Kirti Mutatkar and other leaders from UnitedAg.

Forum attendance is free and primarily by invitation: however, limited seating is available for interested healthcare and agriculture industry leaders and professionals. To inquire about attending the forum, contact Maribel Ochoa at UnitedAg at or (949) 471-3206. For additional information about the forum and conference, visit
