BRANDT Monterey was presented with The Western Plant Health Association's highly regarded Harry J. Larsen Integrity Award at the association's annual meeting last week.

The honor is bestowed on individuals and companies in the agricultural community that have excelled in community service through public outreach programs, charitable donations and community causes.

The award was presented to Jim Tuttle, Vice President of Sales at BRANDT Monterey, by WPHA Board Chairman Ron Naven. "We are deeply honored to receive the WPHA Integrity award," said Tuttle. "We try to give back to the community and support charitable organizations as much as we can. It means a lot to be recognized by our peers for our efforts."

Naven pointed out that BRANDT Monterey has donated generously to organizations such as the ALS Society, the MS Society, the Community Food Bank, the American Cancer Association and many other charities. The company was also recognized as serving on many industry boards and public advisory committees on behalf of agriculture.

"We are extremely proud to present this award to a company this year that truly reflects the values and ideas inherent in the Harry Larsen Integrity Award," Naven said following the presentation. "It is through companies like BRANDT Monterey that the agricultural industry is able to thrive and give back to their communities."
