Agri Star Canada and United Suppliers are pleased to announce that several Agri Star partners will now be participating in the Platinum Alignment Program by United Suppliers.

Facilitated through Agri Star Canada, this platform will allow these Independent partners of Agri Star to continue to improve their business capabilities and competitiveness in the Western Canadian Ag Retail Business.

"Our group was created by fiercely independent retailers," says Agri Star Country Manager, Ron DeKok. "By utilizing this new crop nutrition platform, Agri Star partners will continue to achieve long-term independence and remain strong competitors. Independents are renowned for their high degree of focus on customer service, and their crop nutrients Ownership with United Suppliers will enhance their position."

Agri Star Canada and United Suppliers support Independent Dealers through Owner-oriented networks, consolidated purchasing models and rewards for the business.

Strong emphasis for both organizations is also placed on fostering synergies with suppliers, and offering Owners access to in-depth business intelligence and tools. Most importantly, the Platinum Alignment Program from United Suppliers allows the Independent Dealer to better compete in a consolidating marketplace.

By working together, Platinum Aligned Owners create a solid partnership for growth focused on building grower relations and service while minimizing procurement time and associated expenses. This newly presented opportunity for Independent Dealers will in turn provide greater choice and support for farmers and producers in Western Canada.

Moving forward, this partnership will also broaden the network of Independent Owners by building the enterprise around storage, distribution and logistics.
