American Agri-Women (AAW) will be part of the richest one-day rodeo in history, "The American," set for Saturday, March 2, in Arlington, Texas.

AAW, a national agriculture advocacy group, will be exhibiting at the event's trade show, highlighting its efforts to promote the welfare of our national security through a safe and reliable food, fiber and mineral supply.

The American is sponsored by RFD-TV. AAW is a program partner with RFD-TV, which broadcasts its American Agri-Women show. The series is by, for and about farm and ranch women.

"There is a great opportunity for AAW to reach out to the rodeo community to let them know what we have been doing, and will continue to do, to support the sport of rodeo and animal agriculture," says President Sue McCrum. "We will continue to educate the public as to the stewardship farm and ranch people have for their animals."

About The American

More than 75,000 rodeo fans will watch the nation's premier rodeo competitors compete for $2 million at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The American is the single largest one-day cash prize event in the history of rodeo.

With the help of broadcast partners and sponsors, RFD-TV will be broadcasting the event LIVE on the day, helping to bring this western sports experience to a wide national audience. For more information, please visit: Follow the event on Twitter @RFDTVAMERICAN and on Facebook:
