Feed Energy announced today that it will again be offering two $2,500 "Excellencein Ag" scholarships to students studying agriculture at a college or university in the Midwest. Interested students can apply for the scholarship by clicking here.

Eligible students must meet requirements for class standing, G.P.A., college attending and major. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on an essay and the strength of their resume.

Feed Energy's commitment to the future of agriculture is demonstrated in its support of student and continuing education programs throughout the country. Feed Energy has supported more than 23 peer-reviewed university publications in animal research, donated generously to university feed mill and facility upgrades and offered internship and scholarship opportunities to students.

Feed Energy is an agribusiness firm primarily engaged in producing high-energy, liquid feed ingredients. The company produces and distributes throughout the Midwest scientifically balanced ingredients specific to their customers' needs. Feed Energy's original production facility has been in Des Moines for more than 25 years, with additional Iowa production facilities in Sioux City and Pacific Junction.
