Source: SipcamAdvan news release

While farmers wait for fields to thaw, SipcamAdvan is giving edible bean and soybean growers in the Midwest an opportunity to learn about strategies for reducing white mold.

Moderate to heavy outbreaks of white mold were reported in Fall 2013 in several upper Midwestern states.

In light of growing concern, SipcamAdvan is hosting a Virtual Grower meeting on White Mold Management on March 25 at 1 pm CST.

"Growers seem to like the format of the virtual meetings, because they can participate from the comfort of their home or vehicle," shares Scott Peterson, Ag Sales Manager with SipcamAdvan. "They can call in to listen and have the option to follow along online. Everyone has a chance to ask questions and share feedback from their region."

According to Peterson, the 30-minute presentation will include an overview of white mold, yield loss, the potential impact on a grower's bottom line, and management strategies. SipcamAdvan will also spotlight Contans WG, the only preventative fungicide on the market that reduces the source of white mold in the soil.

There is no cost to participate in the Virtual Grower Meeting, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Growers can contact Beth Rebels at 1-877-429-2699 or to reserve a spot.
