Osborn Barr's mission is to be agriculture and rural America's greatest advocate, but today, there is a growing societal pressure facing ag. This disconnect between farms and consumers challenges the local communications agency, O+B, to constantly raise its game.

One way the company is growing is by adding Josh St.Peters, award-winning broadcaster, strategist and communicator, as its director of public relations.

St. Peters comes to Osborn Barr from DuPont Pioneer's Global Public Affairs team, where he led issues management and crisis communications efforts. While at Pioneer, he also held leadership positions on the North American Marketing team and in one of the company's largest commercial business units.

"The public relations discipline plays a big role in the success of Osborn Barr," said Michael Turley, CEO at O+B. "Josh's work has helped shape the story of several iconic brands in our business, and we're excited to welcome him to our amazing team."

Prior to Pioneer, St. Peters was as an award-winning broadcaster with Brownfield Ag News and RFD Radio. He reported on the top issues for North American growers - from farm policy to grain markets and international trade. He also served as Director of Farm Information for Illinois Farm Bureau, contributing to communications campaigns on agriculture and public policy matters at the state and national level.

A native of southern Illinois, he earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications from the University of Illinois and studied agriculture economics and marketing in Kansas State University's Master of Agribusiness program.
