One out of every eight people in the state of South Dakota is food-insecure. Four South Dakota counties rank in the top ten U.S. counties having the highest poverty rates. Despite their tremendous efforts, the Feeding South Dakota hunger relief organization is still 16 million meals shy of what is needed to close the hunger gap across the state.

Together with the South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation and other sponsors, Legend Seeds is digging in to help.
The South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation's first annual Prime Time Gala is scheduled for June 14, 2014 in Sioux Falls, SD.

The event is comprised of two separate soirees - an upscale banquet dinner and a country music concert featuring multi-platinum country music recording artist Gary Allan and country music up-and-comer Brett Eldredge.

Both events will be held at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. All proceeds from both of these events will support Feeding South Dakota with a special emphasis on providing protein products as part of a balanced diet.

Legend Seeds, the Midwest's largest independent regional seed company is a Prime Sponsor of the event. "We are proud to support the Prime Time Gala and be a partner with the South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation. We feel this event will benefit a great cause," said Glen Davis, President of Legend Seeds, Inc. of De Smet, South Dakota.
