FARM JOURNAL MEDIA BEGINS SEARCH FOR RADIO AFFILIATE RELATIONS MANAGER

Farm Journal Media is the nation's leading agricultural media company and in late 2012 added radio to its portfolio with the purchase of the AgriTalk radio network.
Soon after the highly acclaimed, nationally syndicated, radio vignette feature American Countryside was added. And then early this year, setting the tone in Farm Radio innovation, Farm Journal Media launched a new talk show devoted exclusively to the agricultural commodity markets, Market Rally.
Growth in radio revenue and affiliates since Farm Journal's involvement has been astounding. So much so that recent hires have been made to accommodate the growth and the search has begun for a Radio Affiliate Relations Manager (ARM).
The primary role of the ARM will be to develop new affiliates and provide support to existing affiliates for current and future Farm Journal Radio Shows syndicated nationally.
A secondary role will be to provide maintenance of existing Television affiliate relations.
Candidate must be highly motivated, organized and have exceptional interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with affiliates. Background and experience in radio affiliate relations is highly preferred.
All Farm Journal Media platforms will be at your disposal for promotional purposes.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or other related field preferred
• Also valuable, experience in Media Sales and or Sales Management
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Flexibility to travel as necessary
• Position is based out of South Bend, IN
• Familiarity with agriculture and/or farm programming helpful, but not required
• Compensation (salary and bonus opportunities) commensurate with experience
