The Context Network, a management consulting firm serving the agriculture, bioscience and food industries, has named Paul Watson a partner.

Paul leverages his experience in financial services, consulting and information technology to provide insightful solutions to a diverse group of clients in agribusiness, food and agricultural development. He is a strong addition to our Context leadership team who will help drive Context's global growth."

Having lived in China and worked throughout Asia, Watson has led large initiatives in agribusiness, agricultural development, and food industries. Clients seek his expertise for projects ranging from strategy development and market analysis to financial forecasting, merger and acquisition evaluation, and competitive intelligence.

The agribusiness, food and bioscience industries are in a state of rapid change as our clients capitalize on the vast data resources available and embrace new and newly accessible technologies. Prior to joining Context, Watson held positions at Monsanto, where he worked in strategic and financial analysis, corporate strategy and global chemistry business development opportunities. Paul covered the biotechnology and health care industries as an equity analyst with A.G. Edwards and Sons.

At Summit Strategies Watson advised clients on private equity and real asset investments. Prior to attending business school Watson served as a Principal Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Watson holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from DePauw University.

Watson joins fellow Context Partners, Tray Thomas, Mike Borel, Mark Holland, Nathan Ramsey, Mark Nelson, Dr. James Mann, Asha Lundal and Jim Eckles in leading the growing agribusiness and food management consulting firm.
