With less than four weeks to go to the official opening ceremony of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy, excitement is brewing as construction commences of the Alltech Pavilion in the 2014 Games Village. Free to everyone possessing a Games sport ticket or with the purchase of a Games Village ticket (€5.00), the Alltech Pavilion will be celebrating the farmer and the vital contribution farmers make on a daily basis to feeding the growing world population.

Alltech's title sponsor status provides a unique opportunity to spread the message of agriculture's critical role worldwide to a global audience and communicate Alltech's passion for improving efficiency, profitability and sustainability on the farm and beyond through natural nutrition and scientific innovation. The Alltech Pavilion, in the heart of the Games Village, is a free exhibition showcasing the progressive nature of agriculture asking "What if":

• ...we could enrich our diets with essential DHA omega-3, while protecting our oceans from overfishing?
• can help us grow nutrient-rich crops without chemicals, following nature's model?
• ...the future of medicine is not in a pill but on a fork?

Alltech works alongside the farmer and within the agricultural industry to provide solutions to improve the performance of the animal while satisfying the consumer and protecting the environment.

"What if there was a better way to nourish our world? At the Alltech Pavilion, we will share our journey of exploration and discovery and celebrate agriculture. The Games offers Alltech a unique platform to educate half a million international spectators on the natural solutions we provide to agriculture," said Dr. Pearse Lyons, founder and president of Alltech.

"An impressive 17,000 people are directly employed in agriculture in Normandy, proving the importance of this sector to the region. We invite the global farming community to join us in celebrating the agricultural industry by visiting the Alltech Pavilion at the Games to experience a glimpse of what can be expected for agriculture in the future."

The Alltech Pavilion asks key questions, from the role of algae in enriching our food with DHA omega-3 to looking for a better way to feed the world. Through the Alltech Pavilion, visitors can explore the world of animal health and nutrition in areas such as algae, crop science, life science, nutrigenomics, farming and animal health.

"We look forward to welcoming visitors to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy, and to the Alltech Pavilion to learn, explore and discover some of the many important projects we are working on to find better ways to nourish our world" said Mrs. Deirdre Lyons, director of corporate image at Alltech. "The Alltech Pavilion will be a highly educational exhibition, and will allow visitors to share our natural curiosity as we turn science into practical, agile and effective solutions that we deliver to farmers and consumers alike."
