The Red River Farm Network announces the addition of Carah Hart to its farm broadcast team. Hart will begin her duties at RRFN on August 31.

"Carah will be a huge asset to the Red River Farm Network; she is an excellent farm broadcaster and will be a wonderful addition to our organization," said Mike Hergert, President of the Red River Farm Network.

Hart grew up on a diversified crop and beef farm near Carrollton, Missouri. Hart's farm broadcast career began while in high school, reporting daily market reports and farm news at her hometown radio station, KMZU.

Hart is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in agricultural journalism with an emphasis in broadcast. While attending Mizzou, she interned with Brownfield Ag News, the Missouri Soybean Association and the National FFA Newsroom.

After graduating, Hart worked in public relations and account service at Osborn and Barr in St. Louis, MO and Cultivate Agency in Justin, Texas.

Hart is actively involved in the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, serving on the NAFB Foundation Auction Committee. Hart is also a past NAFB Glen Kummerow scholarship recipient.

Hart joins Mike Hergert, Don Wick and Randy Koenen on the Red River Farm Network farm broadcast team.
