WINFIELD SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES NEW NAMING STRATEGY
Source: Land O'Lakes news release

Winfield Solutions is known for making complex decisions easier for its customers, offering the smartest products and the best insights.

Over the company's five year history, WinField has developed an industry-leading portfolio of seed and crop protection products, along with unparalleled agronomic expertise.

At a recent sales meeting, WinField leadership announced a decision to take full advantage of its strong name, unveiling a new brand strategy and fresh look that showcases company's commitment to best-in-class excellence.

The new strategy rolls the company's integrated system of expertise, insights, products, programs and services under a single, consistent WinField branded umbrella.

"It's about linking our resources to create a powerful support system for today's farmers and empowering our retail partners to deliver more expertise to more fields," said Mike Vande Logt, vice president and chief operating officer, Seed.

Moving forward, when looking at signage or product packaging, the WinField brand will endorse all seed, crop protection and plant nutrition products, simplifying product identification for customers and strengthening the tie to the master WinField brand. The AgriSolutions brand is being eliminated, and the CROPLAN brand name has been shortened, removing the word "Genetics" altogether.

The Answer Plot® program, NutriSolutions® Tool and R7® Tool names remain the same, but their logos now include "by WinField™" to link them to the WinField brand. All farmer solutions will also be endorsed by the WinField brand.

"With a new, shorter brand name and the linking of all our products and services, our focus is on helping farmers win in the field," said Rod Shroeder, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Crop Protection Products. "We invite all Land O'Lakes members and employees to join us on this exciting quest to be greater - not just for WinField, but for agriculture."
