"Johnny Rodgers is a proven winner, and we are so proud to have him join our team," stated Patrick Gottsch, Founder of Rural Media Group, Inc.

"Johnny has a tremendous attitude, and brings a strong work ethic with an experienced media background to our company. Everyone here at RMG is looking forward to working with Johnny to help take RFD-TV and RURAL RADIO to their full potential."

Known as one of the best return specialists in college and Canadian football history Rodgers is passionate about helping North American youth establish careers in the trade professions. His public speaking engagements take him across the country from San Diego to Montreal, Canada on a regular basis allowing him to procure new business for RMG.

"My responsibilities are to generate and develop new business locally, nationally and internationally by creating awareness through networking and public relations. I am working with the local chamber of commerce, national chamber and the Canadian government," stated Rodgers.

Rural people are passionate and Rodgers is committed to building solid worldwide relationships.

Rodgers career spans the definition of teamwork. He previously worked in the cable magazine business in San Diego where he owned the cable publication Tuned in San Diego, a cable TV and entertainment magazine.

"I understand you don't win the Heisman Trophy by yourself, national championships by yourself or build television and radio networks by yourself, it's always in conjunction with others that you make your greatest accomplishments and teamwork makes your dreams work.

"Working together with the RMG management team and building relationships [in] the U.S. and Canada are my main focus. We can showcase the value of RMG's 63 million household subscribers and RURAL RADIO Sirius XM channel 80 agribusiness and western lifestyle channel with the latest news and commodity updates nationwide," stated Rodgers.
