Nov. 30, 2015 Agri-Pulse reports: There's a new leadership team at Cargill under chairman and CEO Dave MacLennan. The previous two-tiered executive leadership structure is being replaced by a single executive group. It includes the heads of the company's five major business groups: *Todd Hall, in charge of the animal protein and salt businesses; *G. J. van den Akker (grain origination and trading); *Frank van Lierde (food ingredients); *Joe Stone (animal nutrition); and *David Dines (energy, ocean transportation and metals trading businesses, and risk management services). The new leadership team also includes: *CFO Michael Smits; *LeighAnne Baker (human resources); *Kathy Fortmann, who will lead the six newly formed service centers that provide support for IT, HR,Finance and others; and *Ruth Kimmelshue, in charge of plant operations, environment, health and safety, transportation and logistics, procurement, food safety and quality, and research and development.
