Jan. 28, 2016 BrownfieldAgNews reports: Growers will be able to use Dow AgroSciences' Enlist Duo this growing season if they choose. A federal appeals court has denied the EPA's motion to vacate registration for the active ingredients in the product. The EPA had petitioned to vacate the label - saying it needed to do more study of the ingredients: 2,4-D choline and glyphosate. The court decision means Enlist Duo is available to growers and Dow Agrosciences issued a statement saying it will continue to cooperate with the EPA concerning the herbicide. When the EPA filed the motion late last year, Dow said it was confident in the "extensive data supporting" the new technology. Currently, Enlist Duo is registered in 15 states, including, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. It has not yet been approved for use in cotton. Tweet |
