Jun. 13, 2016 Source: Purdue University The 2016 National Conference for Agribusiness-Driving Data to Insights is coming to Indianapolis Nov. 14-16. Faculty experts from Purdue University's Center for Food and Agricultural Business are excited to share with you two brand new projects: the Multi-Generational Farm Study and the Purdue/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer. Multi-Generational Farm Study The center is partnering with Canada's Agri Studies, Inc., to conduct a comprehensive review of the needs of and decision-making processes used by multi-generational farmers in North America. Results of the study will benefit agribusiness organizations in the areas of communication planning, farm management, buying center strategies, price sensitivity and sales management. Purdue/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer The Purdue/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer is the only ongoing measure of the US agricultural economy. The monthly barometer is made up of two components. The first, a monthly survey of 400 agricultural producers, discerns farmer sentiment toward the status of the US agricultural economy. The second is a survey of agricultural thought leaders who provide a broader view of the farm economy. Thought leaders include agribusiness executives, farm organization leaders, university faculty and consultants. Don't miss out on this valuable industry insight.
