Source: Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network news release

The Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network has hired another full-time reporter. Anna Hastert, of Harlan, has joined the network as Digital Editor and Staff Reporter. Hastert will be based in the network's Des Moines studio with NAFB broadcaster and the network's Supervising Editor, Ben Nuelle.

She will also be mentored by Senior Broadcaster, Ken Root who is based in the network's Dyersville studio.
"I am honored to accept the Digital Editor and Staff Reporter position with the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network.

I look forward to cultivating my current understanding of the agriculture industry, as well as interacting with farmers, government officials and other active members of the industry," Hastert said.

Nuelle, who's been with the network a year and a half, said Hastert should fit right in.

"I worked with Anna during my time at Northwest Missouri State University at the local NPR affiliate. With her skills, along with her passion for Ag and Iowa, she will be a great asset to us," Nuelle said.

Anna is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University where she majored in multimedia journalism. She has significant broadcast experience having served as a journalist and broadcaster for NWMSU's radio stations and newspaper, as well as Atlantic, Iowa based, Meredith Communications.
