UPDATE ON FARMERS BUSINESS NETWORK, DOUBLES IN SIZE EACH YEAR
Source: Oklahoma Farm Report

At the recent Commodity Classic, our Associate Farm Director Carson Horn had the chance to speak with Charles Baron, co-founder of Farmers Business Network, an online application that brings transparency to the agricultural market through data-sharing.

According to Baron, the company started three years ago and today has grown to support 240 employees across the nation and represents over 6,000 farms and 22 million acres of cropland throughout the US and Canada. He says the business continues to double in size each year as they help farmers find the best price for their inputs and even help procure the products they need.

Baron says FBN has generated enormous savings for their farmer members, thanks to their low overhead and online platform. He says thus far, their top farm saved $185,000 by using their services - just on their chemical bill.

As the company grows, Baron says there is still much more to come on the horizon insisting that FBN has only begun to scratch the surface of their business application and capabilities.

Listen to Carson's full conversation with Baron, recorded during the 2018 Commodity Classic, to hear more about how FBN can help you save money on your farm or ranch by clicking here.
