NUTRIEN ANNOUNCES CHARLOTTE HEBEBRAND TO EVP STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS AND CHIEF SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER

Saskatoon, SK - Nutrien Ltd. (Nutrien) recently announced the appointment of Charlotte Hebebrand to the position of Executive Vice President Stakeholder Relations and Chief Sustainability Officer, effective May 1, 2020. Charlotte will be the latest member of the Nutrien Executive Leadership Team.
As the former Director General of the International Fertilizer Association and former Chief Executive of the International Food & Agriculture Trade Policy Council, Charlotte's knowledge of our industry and its role in responsible production and distribution of plant nutrients is unmatched.
She also brings broad global experience in international development, trade, agriculture and food safety.
We're entering a new age of agriculture, and our stakeholders are depending on us to deliver the products, services and solutions they need to be successful for generations to come. This requires a steadfast commitment to sustainability. From ground to grower, Charlotte's mission will be to ensure Nutrien maintains this commitment.
Charlotte also joins Nutrien at a critical time in the organization's history. With the COVID-19 Pandemic impacting every aspect of life around the world and in Canada, a stable food supply has never been more important. Her role in ensuring our company can continue to do our part to feed a growing world, while maintaining a focus on our environmental, social and governance plans, will be key to our future success.
Charlotte holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and a M.A. in International Relations from John Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies.
