Field Posts is a weekly podcast by DTN/Progressive Farmer that dives deeper into the most important trends in technology, policy, management, and business to explore the ag industry's cutting edge.
We're launching the podcast this week and will be publishing at least one new episode every week. All major podcast directories will carry the podcast.
It's important to us to meet farmers where they work - inside the cab - and knowing that more than half of farmers listen to audio on their phone at least 1x daily, we wanted to bring our 135 years of providing industry insights to farmers in yet another way. Farmers can bring us along when they hit the fields, work in their shop, or enjoy their morning coffee.
We will offer new perspectives on old farming adages and give a holistic view of common challenges and hot-button issues. Our goal is to entertain, inform, and empower decisions. We've got a lot to share.
Our first episode, "The Bottom Line on Meat in a Crisis," addresses the impact of the pandemic on the US meat sector. DTN Livestock Analyst ShayLe Stewart joins our host Sarah Mock on the podcast to discuss what's really driving market prices and how producers are and could be reacting and adapting to an indefinite crisis.
