HOARD'S ANNOUNCES ITS NEXT DAIRYLIVESTREAM "FEDERAL MILK MARKET ORDERS AND THEIR FUNCTION"
Source: Hoard's Dairyman news release

Fort Atkinson, WI - Federal Milk Market Order reform could be the most pressing topic in a post pandemic dairy world. Join us for the next edition of DairyLivestream from Hoard's Dairyman, 11:00 am CDT, Wednesday November 18, 2020 as the University of Wisconsin's Mark Stephenson and Cornell University's Andy Novakovic and Chris Wolf begin to frame the conversation. The trio will provide the foundation on the topic in the episode - Federal orders and their function in this special program sponsored by DiamondV.

Federal Milk Market Orders date back to the 1930s and largely price and market the grand majority of milk in the United States to this very day. During the November 18 DairyLivestream, the trio of agricultural economists will identify a few of the modern-day stress points in the federal order system. As the conversation unfolds, the panel will identify often-talked-about complaints as it relates to milk pricing and marketing and offer potential remedies. In future episodes, additional thought leaders will be invited to join this important conversation.

Hoard's Dairyman DairyLivestream web broadcasts provide expert perspectives from the country's leading business leaders in a live, interactive environment. These twice-monthly web broadcasts focus on current dairy farm economic impacts, milk processing and hauling, milk markets and dairy product marketing.

Hosted by Hoard's Dairyman Managing Editor, Corey Geiger, regular panelists include Mark Stephenson, UW-Madison Director of Dairy Policy Analysis, Andy Novakovic, Dairy economist and advisor at Cornell University's Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, and Christopher Wolf, Economics professor at Cornell University's Dyson School of Applied Economics.

Marketers are invited to tune in to this week's broadcast at 11:00 am CDT, Wednesday, November 18, and can register on hoards.com. Sponsorship opportunities for Hoard's Dairyman DairyLivestream broadcasts are also available. Contact your Hoard's Dairyman representative or email marketing@hoards.com for more information.
