Autonomous robots that plant thousands of acres and a global community absent China's threat - sound crazy? About 800 audience members, including those in-person and virtual, heard from 23 speakers on topics ranging from the farm economy to geopolitical forces impacting the globe. Robert Saik, a professional agriculture consultant, serial entrepreneur and author of the book "FOOD 5.0: How We Feed the Future," painted a picture of a changing agriculture system in the United States and around the globe. Saik has founded more than 15 companies in the areas of farming, ag retail and distribution. AGvisorPro is a social and connectivity platform that solves problems by pairing questions from farmers with experts worldwide.
