EXPERT REPORTS ASF CONTINUES TO SPREAD IN CHINA

Michael Ellermann, Aspire Agritech Consulting, spoke about the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak in China at the Carthage Spring Swine Symposium this week. Ellermann, based in China, shared key information about how ASF continues to spread in China, including:

The vaccine strain virus causes most current ASF cases. The vaccine strain causes the same number of problems as the wild strain, but is less deadly.
