ANNA HASTERT JOINS LEARFIELD AG'S AGRIAMERICA DIVISION AS DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR
Source: Learfield news release

Jefferson City, Mo. - Learfield Ag is pleased to announce Anna Hastert has joined AgriAmerica, a division of Learfield Ag, as Digital Content Creator/Coordinator. She is based in Ames, Iowa.

"Anna's deep roots in agriculture and communications make her the perfect addition to the Learfield Ag team," says Cyndi Young, Director of Learfield Ag. "Her creativity, enthusiasm and professionalism are important qualities as we build our AgriAmerica division."

Anna grew up on a cow-calf and row crop operation near Harlan, in southwest Iowa. Her farm background coupled with her gift of gab made her a natural fit for agricultural communications. In high school, Anna was introduced to agricultural broadcasting. She competed in the Iowa FFA's Agricultural Broadcasting Career Development Event on behalf of the Harlan FFA Chapter. Prior to the contest, Anna collaborated with Tom Robinson, farm director for KSOM/KS957 in Atlantic, Iowa. In 2012, she placed fourth in the state competition.

Soon thereafter, Anna started as the Sunday Morning News Anchor for KSOM/KS957. The on-air experience helped kick start her communications career. In 2017, Anna earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media from Northwest Missouri State University. During her academic career, she worked for Northwest Student Media and NPR affiliate, KXCV/KRNW.

In 2018, Anna worked as Digital Editor and Farm Broadcaster for the Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network in Des Moines. During her tenure, Anna managed digital product offerings, produced news and market reports, and coordinated special projects. Prior to joining AgriAmerica, Anna served as Director of Communications for the Iowa Cattlemen's Association, where she concentrated on digital marketing and public relations.

"It's an honor to work for Learfield, whose rich history dates back to 1972," Hastert said. "Just as the company has evolved, I aspire to help the company grow its media offerings."
