FULL YEAR: U.S. TRACTOR SALES DOWN 15%, COMBINE SALES UP 16% Jan. 12, 2023 Agri Marketing magazine reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during December 2022 in the U.S. were down 18% from the same month last year. In December, a total of 20,363 tractors were sold which compares to 24,846 sold in 2021. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 27% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 9%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 3%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 33%. For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 19% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 11%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 2%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 16%. Combine sales in December totaled 765 up 16% from last year.
