FEBRUARY U.S. TRACTOR SALES DOWN 19%; COMBINE SALES UP 165% Mar. 14, 2023 Agri Marketing magazine reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during February 2023, in the U.S. were down 19% from the same month last year. In February, a total of 14,134 tractors were sold which compares to 17,542 sold in 2022. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 26% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 13%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 3%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 55%. For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 26% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 10%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 13%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 23%. Combine sales in February totaled 530 up 165% from last year.
