BAYER TO DONATE $500,000 FOR MAUI FIRE RELIEF EFFORT
BrownfieldAgNews reports:

Bayer is contributing $500,000 to support the Maui wildfire relief efforts. The company is donating $250,000 in cash and essential healthcare products valued at $250,000. Bayer has had facilities in Maui County for more than 50 years and says it is committed to providing immediate relief and sustained support for recovery and rebuilding.

Bayer's donation focuses on the key areas of supporting relief efforts, increasing access to food for those displaced and continuing to assess the needs of the community on an ongoing basis and contribute to local organizations as additional needs emerge. The company is also working closely with the Hawaii healthcare partners delivering medical aid to those in need.

In addition, the Bayer Fund is matching the cash donations made by Bayer Employees.

Alan Takemoto, government affairs lead for Bayer Hawaii says the company is committed to providing immediate relief and long-term aid to help in the recovery and revitalization of Maui.
