NEW SOYBEAN PEST DISCOVERED IN MINNESOTA AND THE DAKOTAS Jan. 22, 2024

A new soybean pest has caught the attention of researchers in Minnesota and the Dakota. The soybean tentiform leafminer has begun showing up with greater frequency the region's soybean fields according to University of Minnesota Entomologist Robert Koch.
He says infestations have caused enough damage in parts of the state to warrant research into the pest, both to determine the extent of the threat and to offer guidance to farmers.
