U.S. JANUARY TRACTOR SALES DOWN 21%, COMBINE SALES DOWN 5%

Agri Marketing magazine reports:
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during January 2024, in the U.S. were down 21% from the same month last year.
In January, a total of 10,899 tractors were sold which compares to 13,834 sold in 2023.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 26% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 15%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 17%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were even.
Combine sales in January totaled 451 up 165 down 5% from last year.
