![]() May 7, 2024 National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) reports: The National Agri-Marketing Association Collegiate Sales Competition began in 2019. It seeks to advance the practice and professionalism of selling and the sales profession. The NAMA Sales competition is a basic sales call skills challenge for individual contestants. Goals of the competition: *Promote the sales profession as a viable career option for college graduates. *Present an opportunity for sponsors to preview and interact with top sales candidates *Furnish a venue for talented and qualified students to exhibit their selling skills. *Provide a venue for students, professors and company executives to network. 2024 Sales Competition summary: •30 students from 11 schools competed in the competition on Tuesday, April 23rd. •In the prelim round each student met one on one with one judge. •Each student had 10 minutes •The students were given the prelim scenario a few weeks before the competition in order to prepare and the final scenario the week before •6 students advanced to the finals •Each finalist had a one-on-one sales call with 2 other judges in the room •Each finalist had 10 minutes in this round, too •The 6 finalists are listed below: Braden Crosson - Cal State Fresno Kaylee Dubois - North Carolina State University Samantha Eubanks - North Carolina State University Grady Hodnett - New Mexico State University Joshus Miller - North Carolina State University Carmen White - University of Guelph The winners are: 1st place - Joshua Miller - $300 2nd place - Braden Crosson - $200 3rd place - Samantha Eubanks - $100 Tweet |
