May 13, 2024 Agri Marketing magazine reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," total sales of all Canadian tractors during April 2024 were 6,274, down 16% from 2023. The sale of all tractors during April, 2024, in Canada were even with the same month last year. In April, a total of 2,216 tractors were sold which compares to 2,234 sold in 2023. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 2% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 27%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 23%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 7%. Combine sales for the four months were up 74% in the month. Sales of combines for the month totaled 288. For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 16% from 2023, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 27%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 5%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 9%. Combine sales for the year totaled 672 an increase of 18% over the same period in 2023.
