Sep. 13, 2024 Agri Marketing magazine reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," total sales of all tractors in Canada during August 2024 were 1,556, down 26% from 2023. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 32% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 27%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 5%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were were up 29%. There were 115 combines sold in the month, down 37%. Total sales of tractors so far this year is 14,294 which is down 17%. For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 18% from 2023, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 26%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 6%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 18%. Total sales of combines for the year is 1,251 even with 2023. To read the entire report click here. Tweet |
