CANADIAN TRACTOR SALES DOWN 15% IN OCTOBER, COMBINE SALES DOWN 27%
Agri Marketing magazine reports:

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," total sales of all tractors in Canada during October 2024 were 3,347, down 15% from 2023.

For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 16% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 12%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 26%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 10%.

There were 294 combines sold in the month, down 27%.

Total sales of tractors so far this year is 18,414 which is down 18%.

For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 18% from 2023, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 22%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 11%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 13%.

Total sales of combines for the year is 1,633 down 11% from last year.
