![]() Dec. 13, 2024 Source: blog by Brandon E. Davis, President, American Agricultural Law Association I write to share news of an important leadership transition within the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA). Brad Parker recently stepped down from his role as Executive Director to pursue new opportunities. We appreciate Brad's contributions to our organization, and we wish him good success in the future. I am pleased to announce that the Board recently approved Liz Icenogle, CAE, as AALA's new Executive Director. Liz worked alongside Brad at Braden Heidner Lowe & Associates (BHL) as an Association Executive. So we expect her transition to the Executive Director role will be smooth, based on AALA's long-standing partnership with BHL, our association management firm. Liz is an experienced association executive who has enjoyed a successful career. For example, Liz is certified as an association executive by the American Society of Association Executives. Liz has focused her career on building relationships, improving processes, and fostering volunteer engagement. That is the type of talent our organization needs at this time. Liz is uniquely qualified to care for AALA's objectives, and will deliver the high-quality service that you expect and deserve. Please join me in welcoming Liz to AALA. We are confident that Liz will succeed in advancing our mission of educating and engaging law and policy professionals who work in various facets of the agricultural and food communities. If you would like to welcome Liz directly, please contact her at Liz@aglaw-assn.org. Tweet |
