![]() Jan. 30, 2025 Source: Farm Journal news release Lenexa, KS - Farm Journal has entered a strategic partnership with Randy Dowdy and David Hula, lifelong farmers and founders of Total Acre. The expansive collaboration includes the launch of a new video podcast along with industry-leading content that will be distributed across Farm Journal's omni-channel platforms. "Farm Journal has set the bar in this industry," Dowdy said. "To have the opportunity to leverage all the ways Farm Journal reaches farmers is a big deal for us and the farmers we serve." Total Acre has helped thousands of farmers compare and analyze acres, which ultimately leads to farmers spending money on agronomic decisions that work.Through this new partnership, Dowdy and Hula will challenge even more farmers to think differently. As both growers test the norms in farming every day, it's those agronomic insights that will be shared on an even larger stage. "This partnership will help growers speed up their learning process," Hula said. "It will allow them to see how we think and challenge them to go out in the field and use the information we'll be sharing to make better and sounder decisions." The new video podcast will be distributed exclusively on Farm Journal's YouTube channel and on AgWeb.com. Audiences will find Total Acre segments on "U.S. Farm Report" and "AgDay" and can hear Dowdy and Hula's commentary on "AgriTalk" radio. A Total Acre column will also be included regularly in Farm Journal magazine. "Randy and David have a unique way of connecting with farmers," said Chris Seper, executive vice president of brands for Farm Journal. "We believe extending their impact through our cross-channel platforms meets Farm Journal's mission of giving farmers the tools they need to make better decisions."
