NAT'L OILSEED PROCESSORS ASSN WELCOMES RYAN LOCKE AS VP OF ENGAGEMENT

WASHINGTON - The National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) today announced that Ryan Locke will serve as the association's new Vice President of Engagement, effective February 18. As Vice President of Engagement, Locke will engage NOPA members, industry partners, policymakers and other stakeholders on policy and regulatory issues critical to the oilseed processing industry.
"I'm incredibly humbled to join NOPA. As a career advocate for agriculture and its positive impacts on our global society there is a continued need to tell our story and use our voice," said Locke. "The work of NOPA and its members continues to increase opportunities to create grower value, produce safe and healthy foods, and supplement our energy needs. Oilseeds have the potential to innovate across an incredible array of industries and use cases. The more our legislators and stakeholders are aware of that potential, the better."
Locke comes to NOPA from Nutrien Ag Solutions, where he most recently served as Director of Sustainability Partnerships and Business Development. In this role, he was responsible for developing and managing commercial relationships, driving conservation and sustainability initiatives, and supporting agricultural and biofuel policy issues. Locke has previously held roles at Bayer, Novozymes and Syngenta.
An alumnus of Texas A&M University, holding a B.A. in Animal Science, Ryan currently lives in Omaha, Neb., on a small acreage farm with his wife and daughter and will balance time between Omaha and Washington, D.C.
