The long-time award-winning broadcaster and storyteller is offering the 50-minute presentation that has been described as "a combination of Ken Burns meets Garrison Keillor," to audiences of all ages and sizes. "We've had a chance to perform it a number of different places, including Mount Rushmore," says, Bob Uecker, Tour Manager "and we think it deserves a broader audience." The non-political presentation is both historical and inspirational. "By using pictures, music and stories, we unite audiences by reminding them of the inherited gifts all Americans share: Fairness, Dreams, Sacrifice, Equality, Generosity, Providence, Desire and Optimism." The story is especially well-received by those in Agriculture and Agri-business. "The fact is, the success of American Agriculture has changed history and has made America the most prosperous of all nations, something we want to recognize and celebrate." Interested people can apply to the America's Story non-profit organization to book a date, find out technical needs or apply for financial help. "It's too important a story to ignore," says Gould. "Thousands of years from now, the story we are each blessed to be a part of today, will still be described as the most remarkable story of nations ever told." About Us America's Story 250, is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to inspire audiences of all sizes with the American Story. Based in South Dakota, America's Story 250's goal is to travel to all 50 states and tell all 333 million Americans the remarkable gifts we share. The presentation is similar in set-up to a TED Talk and includes pictures and supporting music. Testimonials, clips and a 58-minute television presentation (now airing on South Dakota Public Television) can be seen at the America's Story 250 website along with support materials and contact information by clicking here.
