Source: Agricultural Retailers Association news release

ARLINGTON, Va. - Some of the Agricultural Retailers Association's (ARA) key policy priorities were included in the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) Act, which passed both chambers of Congress this week.

"ARA's priorities in the OBBB help ensure that American agriculture continues to thrive and remain competitive. ARA advocated for included measures such as the preservation of the Section 199A deduction, bolstering of the farm safety net, investments in ag research, and numerous conservation initiatives that will safeguard our natural resources for future generations of farmers," said Richard Gupton, ARA's Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Counsel.

"We look forward to continuing our collaboration with policymakers to advance initiatives that benefit farmers, retailers, and the industry as a whole. Together, we can ensure the future of American agriculture remains vibrant, competitive, and productive."
