U.S. TRACTOR SALES DOWN 20% IN OCTOBER, COMBINE SALES DOWN 27%
Agri Marketing magazine reports:

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during October, 2025 in the U.S. were down 20% from the same month last year.

In October, a total of 17,758 tractors were sold which compares to 21,457 sold in 2024.

For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 22% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 11%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 17%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 56%.

Combine sales in October totaled 376 down 27% from last year.

For the year, total tractor sales are down 9%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 8%, 40 and under 100 HP are down 4% while 100+ HP are down 24%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors are down 42%.

For the year, combine sales totaled 3,063 through October which is 38% below 2024.
