Nov. 25, 2025 BrownfieldAgNews reports: The 2025 U.S. soybean harvest has officially wrapped up, and the end is near for the corn harvest. The USDA says 96% of U.S. corn is harvested as of Sunday, compared to the five-year average of 97%, with three quarters of the top production states at or past 95%. 97% of winter wheat is planted, in line with the average, and 87% has emerged, slightly slower than most years, with 48% of the crop rated good to excellent, 3% above a week ago, but 7% below a year ago. 79% of cotton is harvested, compared to the normal pace of 80%. 91% of sorghum has been harvested, compared to 97% typically this time of year.
