Jan. 15, 2026 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during December 2025 in the U.S. were down 15% from the same month last year. In December, a total of 14,581 tractors were sold which compares to 17,104 sold in 2024. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 19% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 5%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 19%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 31%. Combine sales in December totaled 422 down 4% from last year. For the year, total tractor sales were down 10%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 9%, 40 and under 100 HP were down 4% while 100+ HP were down 23%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors were down 42%. For the year, combine sales totaled 3,579 which is 36% below 2024. To read the entire report click here. Tweet |
