Corn net sales surged to 4.01 million metric tons (MT) for the 2025/2026 marketing year, marking a weekly high and a sharp increase from both the previous week and the prior four-week average. Major buyers included Japan with 837,000 MT, South Korea with 752,000 MT, Mexico with 423,000 MT, and Vietnam with 202,000 MT. Exports totaled 1.43 million MT, primarily destined for Mexico, Japan, Colombia, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Soybean net sales also hit a marketing-year high of 2.45 million MT, up 19% from the previous week and 92% from the prior four-week average. China led purchases with 1.3 million MT, followed by Mexico, Egypt, and the Netherlands. Exports reached 1.34 million MT, mainly to China, Japan, the Netherlands, Mexico, and Spain.

Sorghum net sales climbed 81% from the prior week to 527,000 MT, also a marketing-year high. China accounted for the bulk of these sales at 464,000 MT. Exports totaled 139,300 MT, mostly shipped to China.

Wheat net sales rose noticeably to 618,100 MT, supported by demand from Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan. Exports increased 23% from the previous week to 372,400 MT.

Rice net sales grew 8% to 63,000 MT, with Honduras, Japan, and Mexico among the top buyers. Rice exports jumped 52% to 61,600 MT.

Other commodities showed mixed results. Barley exports were minimal, while cotton net sales and exports reached marketing-year highs, driven by demand from Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Beef and pork net sales remained steady, with Mexico, Japan, and South Korea as key destinations.
