Mar. 11, 2026 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during February 2026 in the U.S. were down 12% from the same month last year. In February, a total of 9,804 tractors were sold which compares to 11,167 sold in 2025. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 11% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 9%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 26%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 11%. Combine sales in February totaled 159 down 13% from last year. For the year, total tractor sales are down 9%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 9%, 40 and under 100 HP are down 1% while 100+ HP are down 26%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors are down 2%.
