Source: Vive Crop Protection news release

TORONTO, Ontario - Vive Crop Protection is pleased to announce the addition of two new commercial team members to its Midwest territory: Steve Sopher as the Midwest Technical Sales Agronomist and Shaun Tyson as Midwest Territory Sales Manager. These strategic hires underscore Vive's continued investment in strengthening its commercial presence and enhancing support for its growers and retail partners across the U.S.

Steve Sopher brings extensive experience spanning agronomy, seed, and crop protection. A graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Agronomy, he began his career in production management before returning to Iowa as a Seed Agronomist. Sopher went on to hold various roles in seed production, product management, and technical services. In his new role, he will leverage his technical expertise to support customers in optimizing the performance of Vive's crop protection solutions across the corn belt.

"Steve's deep agronomic knowledge and broad industry experience make him a tremendous asset to our team," said Greg Esco, VP of Sales. "He brings a strong understanding of Midwest agriculture and a proven ability to help customers achieve consistent, high-performing results."

Shaun Tyson brings a strong agricultural background to Vive, having started his career in ag retail before advancing into the seed industry, where he has held a variety of high-level roles. Over the course of his career, he has served in key positions including Sales Effectiveness Manager and Dealer Development Manager, building extensive expertise in customer engagement, channel development, and strategic growth initiatives.

Tyson earned his degree in Agribusiness Operations from Lincoln Land Community College and later completed Purdue University's ASTA Management Academy, along with several additional leadership development programs. His combination of industry knowledge, leadership experience, and entrepreneurial mindset positions him to drive growth and deliver meaningful value to customers in his role at Vive.

"Shaun brings a results-driven approach and a deep understanding of the ag retail landscape," said Darren Bodine, Corn Belt Regional Sales Manager. "He's well-positioned to help us execute on our goals and continue delivering value in the Midwest."
